Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic has admitted that Inter just ‘weren’t for him’ after he turned down the Nerazzurri for the Ukranian club.
The former Basel defender was a long-term target for the San Siro side, but opted to sign for Oleh Blokhin’s men instead.
“Inter? Look I spoke with them,” he told derstandard.at. “But we never came to an agreement.
“And at the time my only focus was Basel.
“The situation with Inter just wasn’t for me.
“I initially refused to come to Dinamo Kiev, but they insisted, so in the end I agreed.
“Say what you want, but I think I’ve made a step forward in my career.”
