Benevento captain Fabio Lucioni has been given a one-year ban after failing a doping test and the club medic suspended for four years.
Lucioni tested positive for Clostebol after the game against Torino on September 10.
He was suspended as a precaution during the appeal process and resumed playing on December 23.
The verdict is now in and Lucioni is banned for one year.
