Marcello Lippi has advised former club Juventus to not sell Gianluigi Buffon at the end of the season.
The goalkeeper's future has been the source of numerous transfer rumours in recent weeks, with Roma again linked this morning.
Nevertheless, the 2006 World Cup winning tactician has told the Old Lady to keep a tight grip of their No 1.
"You should not sell champions when you have them at your disposal," the former Bianconeri Coach noted.

"I have nothing against Marco Storari, who is an excellent player, but I do hope that Buffon does remain.
"Juventus need him because great players like him are always required."
Buffon, 33, has struggled for fitness and form since picking up an injury for Lippi's Italy at World Cup 2010.
The former Parma net-minder returned to action at the start of this year following surgery.
He was back in goal for the Old Lady against Fiorentina on Sunday after missing the last two games with illness and back problems.
