The Ducali were beaten 2-0 by Juve in the opening round and welcome the Flying Donkeys this evening. Click here for a match preview.

“We must try to get a result with the same hunger we showed against Juventus,” said the Coach.

“I don’t like to consider the idea that you are already beaten before you start against certain opponents, nor that any result is secure.

“It’ll be every bit as tough against Chievo, as they are a solid side coming off a Week 1 win over Bologna.

“We will try to play at a high level and not lose our concentration. I am sure Chievo will try to hit us on the counter-attack, so we have to close them down as quickly as possible.”

Parma will not have new forward Manuel Arteaga until Tuesday.

“Fortunately the transfer session is closed and over the last few days not much changed as far as we are concerned. We are the same squad who started pre-season training in July with the advantage that our young players had the chance to grow,” noted Donadoni.

“It is only a shame to see Francesco Modesto go to Pescara.”
