Bologna Coach Roberto Donadoni says ‘our strength is in the group’ after winning back to back matches since his arrival.

The Rossoblu sacked Delio Rossi in October but have beaten Atalanta and Verona in Donadoni’s first two matches, scoring five goals and conceding none.

Despite the encouraging start, the former Parma boss warned that ‘the road is long and difficult’ and praises his squad.

“The training sessions that we have had this week will allow us to improve further, there will be three double sessions,” he told Sky Sport.

“Giaccherini and Donsah? In goalscoring terms they are helping us, but our strength is in the group.

“Inside the dressing room we have to remain united. I tried to bring with me all my experiences, trying to push the right buttons when intervening.

“Clearly, you can’t do much in a short time. We must continue to work, the guys are very helpful.

“The road is still very long and difficult, the contenders are aggressive, but we must believe.

“Parma? I always follow my former teams and their performances. They are linked to an emotional story, I spent three wonderful years in that city, where I also had a daughter.

“I hope that the Gialloblu come back as soon as possible to the leagues where they deserve to be.”
