Roberto Donadoni said Parma’s future hangs in the balance and called for fan support ahead of tomorrow’s rescheduled Udinese game.
The Week 24 fixture was postponed during the height of the financial crisis at the club, when they didn’t have enough money to pay stewards or security at the Stadio Tardini.
It kicks off on Wednesday at 17.30 UK time (16.30 GMT).
“It would be important for us if the fans gave a sign,” said Coach Donadoni in his Press conference.

“They need to do it for themselves, for their city and their own dignity. The club is trying to involve them as much as possible, but support has to be spontaneous. Nobody can force them into cheering us on.
“I can say the lads are giving their all to honour the jersey in this disastrous year and we’d like the fans to give us a hand.
“We need them, as having a stadium with 20,000 people is very different to an empty arena. It’s also possible that a potential buyer would see the game and get the wrong impression of this club’s fanbase.”
Parma are under administration after the club was declared bankrupt and nobody has been paid since July 2014.
This isn’t the only game that was postponed, as the Ducali will travel to Genoa on April 15, so their match at Cagliari has been moved to Monday May 4.
“I don’t see why all the games have been pushed together like this. They could’ve been spread out a bit.
“We are in a difficult situation and it’s not easy to keep going, but there’s no point complaining or getting angry, as nothing would change.”
Today Donadoni and the squad also met with AIC (Players’ Association) President Damiano Tommasi and the administrators.
On April 15 the administrators will rule whether Parma can continue until the end of the season or be dissolved early.
“If we can continue, then we’ll discuss the future from April 15 onwards. We want to continue and not leave anything behind.
“The future of our players depends on the next two months, but I don’t think they will leave before the end of the season.
“The lads feel that those who reduced Parma to this state owe them something, but that shouldn’t become an alibi.”
