Sassuolo boss Eusebio Di Francesco wanted his men to be “more determined in front of goal” against Atalanta.
The 0-0 draw extended their unbeaten run to five games, a club record in Serie A, but the Coach was still disappointed.
“It was a match that did not have much flow and we were not allowed to raise the tempo,” Di Francesco told Sky Sport Italia.
“Atalanta created problems in the first 20 minutes after the restart, but other than that we had all the scoring opportunities.
“I tried to throw on another striker at the end to win it, but in these circumstances you always run the risk of conceding too.
“We need to improve, be more determined in front of goal and more clinical. Last season we conceded many more goals, but the team improved after a difficult start.”
