Furious Verona fans protested outside the stadium following the Crotone loss, with the result leaving Pecchia’s team five points adrift of Serie A safety.
Despite the Verona hierarchy considering the position of their current boss, he remains in charge of the team for today’s trip to Fiorentina.
The club have been ‘in ritiro’ for the last week as they bid to turn around their ailing fortunes and are not speaking to the media.
There are fresh reports Pecchia will be sacked after today's clash at the Artemio Franchi if his team do not at least show a positive reaction to last week’s humiliation.
