“Juventus are in the past, now we think about Inter,” said Di Carlo of Saturday’s 2-0 loss in Turin.
“We have to look forward with confidence, because my Chievo can beat Inter. Our last two games have been very difficult, almost impossible in the case of Juve, as they are undoubtedly the strongest sides.
“Now we must get back on track and face Inter without fear. They have great players and have one of the best squads in Serie A, but we must rediscover the Chievo spirit.
“We’ve got to rely on that desire to run, fight and sacrifice ourselves for the team.”
Chievo won their opening game against Bologna, but have since lost three on the bounce.
“Frankly, I didn’t dislike our performance against Juve. We were lacking a little consistency in attack, but hope to rediscover that against Inter,” continued Di Carlo.
“The important thing to get a result against such a strong side is to keep the tempo as high as possible. If we play too slowly, then their quality can hurt us.”
