The Azzurrini are getting ready for their European Championship qualifiers against Serbia on September 2 and Andorra on September 6.
“I expect to see a response from the squad against Albania, a test that will be important for everyone, new and old,” declared the Coach.

“I want to see the growth of the players, organisation on the pitch, good football, courage and the desire to create scoring opportunities.
“Albanian football is growing, not just at Under-21 level, but also achieving great results under Italian tactician Gianni De Biasi at Euro 2016.
“What we must focus on is our own improvement and I told the lads it’s the chance for a few second choice figures to perhaps make themselves first choices.
“Any training session, any game, any 20 minutes on the pitch can change the hierarchy. A new season begins and we’ll try out some new options.”
