Inter have reportedly prepared a new offer for Romelu Lukaku after the Chelsea owned striker rejected an approach from Saudi Arabia.

Reports yesterday revealed that the 30-year-old Belgian striker was offered a deal worth around €58m net per season by Saudi side Al-Hilal, which he quickly rejected, only having one club in his sights.

Lukaku has no intention of playing for Chelsea next season and only wants to join Inter, who have been hard at work trying to find the right formula to bring him back to the Lombardy capital.

Page three of today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport details how Inter have prepared a new offer for Lukaku, hoping to sign the Chelsea striker on a €5m loan deal with a €30m obligation to buy clause attached, with result-based add-ons that could further increase the figures.

The Nerazzurri would like to keep the 30-year-old, but their delicate financial position limits their ability to pay up for his signature. Two years ago, the Belgian striker was sold to the Blues for around €113m.
