Alessandro Del Piero and Sydney FC will be in Italy for three weeks of pre-season training in August.
The A-League club has secured a spot in Jesolo, near Venice, from August 2 to 22.
Italian clubs mainly train in the mountains during the summer because of the high temperatures, but an Australian side will feel at home on the beach.

It’s reported fans will be asked to pay a small sum to watch the training sessions and friendlies against local clubs, including Padova.
A portion of that money will then be donated to a local charity.
There are even rumours the Jesolo council intends to name a street after ex-Juventus legend Del Piero. He was born and raised in the Veneto region in Conegliano, near Treviso.
“I am sure the Jesolo hospitality will make this a pleasurable and productive stay for Sydney, hoping their preparation can be followed by a great season with a title,” said President of Regione Veneto Luca Zaia.
