However, Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting this morning that Del Neri, who Coached city rivals Chievo has now been approached, and will meet with the club this morning.
The newspaper expects an announcement this morning about the new Coach, with Del Neri now the favourite to be given the job.
As well as Juventus and Chievo, the tactician has had spells at Roma, Porto and Sampdoria.
