“Every game is the last chance for us,” Del Neri acknowledged in his pre-match Press conference.
“We have only one task: to try and win a game which is of paramount importance, just like those against Chievo and Udinese.
“How do we beat Samp? By running and suffering, and having great respect for a team with top players. They won against Frosinone in the midst of a bad spell, they’ll play to win.
“As a team they don’t give you much, we have to be very careful about what we do while at the same time going out there with a winning mentality.
“No team in the world goes onto the pitch to lose, we need speed and intensity and we’ll fight for every ball to try and win every game.
“My future? We’re focused on staying in Serie A, and that’s it. The rest will be evaluated at the appropriate time.
“My only thought is to fight for the top-flight status of this team.”
