Spain boss Vicente Del Bosque says ‘if Juventus aren’t using Alvaro Morata much it’s his own fault, not the Coach’s.’
The Bianconeri striker has had an inconsistent season, struggling to get regular starting spots amid competition from Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Simone Zaza.
Morata is in the Spain squad that will face Italy tomorrow, but Del Bosque was critical of the striker by saying that ‘no one would’ve said anything if I didn’t call him up.’

Morata is in the Spain squad that will face Italy tomorrow, but Del Bosque was critical of the striker by saying that ‘no one would’ve said anything if I didn’t call him up.’
“If he’s not being used much it’s his own fault, not the fault of his Coach,” he said to Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It means he’s not doing well. If I hadn’t called him up, no one would’ve said anything to me.
“But he has everything to be out central attacker. For some reason he hasn’t found the right regularity yet, he has his own responsibility for this.
“What should he do? I don’t know. He’s a nice guy for sure, humble and not pampered.
“Let’s hope he finds the right continuity both with Juve and with us. During the games he must make more of an impression.”
