The €12m rated Brazilian has been linked heavily with both Serie A sides, but South American agent Sabatino Durante has told Radio Marte that the player is not bound for the peninsula.
“Forget about it, the player has chosen to join Corinthians,” Durante commented. “The negotiations for that transfer are at a good point.
“He has great strength and power, but you need more focus to play in Europe. Despite being watched by Milan, Juventus and Napoli, he has decided what step to take.
“He could evolve into a top player at Corinthians.”
The 24-year-old is a centre-back who is contracted to Vasco until 2015.
