Antonio Candreva reportedly wants an Inter move by August 4, but they’re still short of Lazio’s asking price.

The Italian international has been heavily linked with the Nerazzurri all summer, but the deal has stalled over their valuation of the midfielder.

The Biancocelesti are asking for €25m for one of their key men, but that is considered too expensive for a 30-year-old.

However, with Gabriel Jesus and Joao Mario reportedly set to move elsewhere, the pressure is on for the Beneamata to make a signing.

However, with Gabriel Jesus and Joao Mario reportedly set to move elsewhere, the pressure is on for the Beneamata to make a signing.

Gazzetta dello Sport therefore believes Inter could raise their offer to €19m plus €2m in bonuses, taking them to €21m.

While that is still €4m short of the asking price, Candreva has made it clear he wants to move to San Siro, rejecting a move to Napoli.

He is expected back for Lazio training on July 28 after being given extended leave following the European Championships, but won’t go to war with the Aquile.

Instead, Candreva will make it clear he wants the transfer to be sorted by August 4 so he can join up with Inter after the return from their pre-season tour of the United States.
