Sassuolo Coach Roberto De Zerbi wants to “take the positives” from their 3-3 draw with Fiorentina, even though they were 3-1 up at the 86th.
“It’s disappointing, because we weren’t lucky on the late incidents, plus we made a few mistakes too,” De Zerbi told DAZN.
“When we went down to 10 men, we got a little too deep and our defenders aren’t really suited to goal-mouth scrambles. We also struggled on the counter and it takes a sharper mind to block the move before it starts rather than just run alongside it.
“We must take the positives from this game, and there are many, as we deserved to win against a side that started the season with different ambitions to ours. This is football.”
