Inter have learned they will have to play their next two home Serie A matches in front of a closed Curva Nord.
The decision comes after the ‘majority’ of Nerazzurri fans sitting in that section of San Siro were judged to have sung ‘discriminatory chants.’
The club have also been fined €50,000 for the chanting that occurred during the team’s home match with Napoli.
As a result, the Curva will be closed for their one remaining home match this season, against Lazio, as well as the first one next term.
Elsewhere, Roma have been fined €15,000 after their fans threw missiles at visiting Milan fans during last Friday’s encounter between the two sides at Stadio Olimpico.
The Rossoneri did not escape punishment either, with the seven-time European champions hit with a €4,000 penalty after their fans threw one back in retaliation during the second half.
There have also been a number of suspensions handed out by the Giudice Sportivo, the most high profile of which is a three game ban for Parma’s Felipe.
He has been handed the punishment after ‘slapping an opponent in the face in the seventh minute of the second half’ of his side’s match against Cagliari.
