Crystal Palace have set their sights on Torino defender Perr Schuurs as they look for possible replacements for Marc Guehi, The Athletic reports.

The 22-year-old English defender has shined in South London since his €23.3m move from Chelsea in July 2021 and has been heavily linked with a move away from Crystal Palace this summer, with clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham interested in the centre back.

Another player who has attracted attention this season is Schuurs, who stood out in his debut Serie A season with Torino. The 23-year-old featured prominently under Ivan Juric following his €9.4m move from Ajax.

As reported by The Athletic, Crystal Palace are trying to line up a deal for Schuurs, not wanting to be caught out should Guehi or Joachim Andersen be sold this summer.

Napoli are also interested in the 23-year-old, but Torino do not want to sell and could command a high fee as his contract expires in 2026.
