“At Crotone we have the ideal environment for talented young players to grow and express themselves. We could’ve been the right place to relaunch an incredible talent like Balotelli, who unfortunately is coming off two not so great seasons.”
What of the rumours Crotone had also approached Sampdoria outcast Cassano?
“Cassano is a great champion who made Italian football history, but there was no contact to bring him to Crotone.”
