The side from Calabria guaranteed second place behind Benevento, while the third promotion spot will be awarded via play-offs.
“It’s a victory for the team, the coach and the club,” Vrenna told Sky Sport Italia.
“Our secret is simply the great passion we put into our football. Every time we fall down, we’re ready to get right back up again, trying to play our style of football.
“Stroppa has a contract and will be in Serie A with us next season. He had an option in the deal confirming he would stay if we were promoted into the top flight.”
This will be only Crotone’s third season in Serie A, and many will remember their desperate comeback to avoid relegation under coach Davide Nicola in 2017.
“Obviously, our objective will be safety,” added Vrenna. “We hope to achieve it a few games earlier this time, rather than the miracle of 2017.”
