Parma striker Hernan Crespo thinks last night's extra-time win over Fiorentina will live long in the memory.

The two sides were goalless after 90 minutes, but Fiorentina looked the likelier to reach the Quarter-Finals when Mario Santana gave his side the lead in the 114th minute.

However, Crespo had an immediate response prepared and scored twice in the three minutes that followed, delivering a knock out blow to Fiorentina which sent Parma through to the Last 8 of the competition.

"I am happy with everything about this situation," Crespo said. "It's great to be a part of this Parma. They are wins that the group needs.

"It was a wonderful evening, one to remember. I did my best. I work with professionalism and in the end the work paid off.

"Parma is special for me. Bing a part of evenings like this is wonderful," he concluded.
