“Andreas Cornelius has gone through some diagnostic tests that have revealed a first-grade tear of the piriformis muscle,” the club wrote in an official statement. “The player has already started the appropriate therapy.”
The club also confirmed that Andrea Adorante, Roberto Inglese and Luigi Sepe are already out with injuries and Bruno Alves has been absent on leave.
Meaning that D’Aversa might have to come up with a clever solution ahead of the match against Lazio this weekend.
