Eugenio Corini says he has been encouraged by Mario Balotelli’s “involvement” in Brescia’s matches so far.
Balotelli has scored one goals in three Serie A appearances for Brescia since arriving on a free transfer in August, and next up for the Rondinelle is a trip to Marassi to face a Genoa side making their debut under new boss Thiago Motta.
“We’re facing a team full of quality, who have changed Coach,” Corini said at a Press conference.

“Marassi’s one of the most beautiful stadiums around, but we’ve prepared well and we’re ready to stand in combat.
“We have excellent mental resilience, which we showed on Monday against Fiorentina. The team fought.
“Reading matches is crucial. The point we got against Fiorentina is worth a lot. The game was very intense.
“We took home a point, now we arrive in Genoa with the right condition. I saw a lot of involvement from Balotelli. I work with him individually, like I do with all the lads.
“The change of Coach is one more difficulty for us. We’ve read that something could change.
“We’ve worked on what we can do, there are two more training sessions left and we’ll be ready to face these difficulties.”
