Cagliari captain Daniele Conti received a two-match ban and Genoa Coach Gian Piero Gasperini is sent to the stands.
The Serie A Disciplinary Commission revealed its decisions after Week 24 and Conti is given a two-game suspension for insulting the referee, something that also got him sent off in the 2-1 defeat to Livorno on Sunday.
Genoa Coach Gasperini was dismissed for dissent and he is given a one-match touchline ban for ‘repeatedly’ aiming an insulting term to the referee while speaking to the Fourth Official in a 3-3 draw with Udinese.
The following players have been banned for one game:
Marco Benassi (Livorno), Federico Ceccherini (Livorno), Daniele Gastaldello (Sampdoria), Afriyie Acquah (Parma), Lorenzo De Silvestri (Sampdoria), Emil Hallfredsson (Hellas Verona), Thomas Heurtaux (Udinese), Roberto Pereyra (Udinese) and Diego Perez (Bologna).
