Antonio Conte’s list of desired reinforcements this summer reportedly includes the likes of Angel di Maria, Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani.
The 44-year-old is seen seeking guarantees from the Bianconeri over summer transfer work, in order to commit to the three-time League winners beyond the summer.
On from indications that such guarantees have been met in a rumoured preliminary meeting, comes Tuttosport’s assessment of the names Conte has ruled in and out of potentially targeting in the market.
The Turin-based publication suggest that the Lecce native has ruled out any move for Luis Nani and Patrice Evra, apparently deeming the Manchester United duo unsuitable for the club’s project and also too old.
It is alleged that the Coach instead harbours dreams of brining in Aleksandar Kolarov from Manchester City and Angel di Maria from Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, attacking options that Conte has reputedly pushed forward include high-priced Uruguayan duo Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani, as well as Bayern Munich’s Mario Mandzukic.
Of the trio, Mandzukic is seen as the most likely candidate for negotiations, in terms of price and availability this summer.
Meanwhile, Tuttosport also report that the Bianconeri have already started early work with Real Madrid over a proposed move for Alvaro Morata and that they do have a preliminary agreement in place with Alexis Sanchez to sign him, if they can agree the same with his club Barcelona.
