Kevin Constant discussed Milan’s problems and his surprise nomination for African Player of the Year.
The full-back spoke to Milan Channel and admitted the team is going through a tough time.
“There can be no words now, only action: we need the three points against Genoa,” said Constant.
“Even if we should play badly, it doesn’t matter, as the only thing that counts is the victory. I started the season badly, but I want to get back on track from the next game.

“I have been reinvented as a full-back at Milan, but can also play wide midfield as I did against Young Boys.”
Guinea international Constant was one of the 25 nominees for the African Player of the Year award. The winner will be announced on January 9.
“It is an honour for me to be among the candidates and I worked very hard for this. My objective is simply to always give my best.”
