Former Milan and Inter defender Fulvio Collovati “certainly expected more” from Rossoneri captain Alessio Romagnoli.
The 62-year-old Italy legend watched two of his old clubs face off in an exhilarating Derby della Madonnina last night, Inter coming back from 2-0 down to win 4-2.
“I consider Romagnoli to be the best defender at Milan, so I certainly expected more from him,” Collovati told MilanNews.it.

“He had a good first half, but has to bear some responsibility also for Stefan de Vrij’s goal, even with the extraordinary twist the Dutchman got on that header.
“In a difficult moment that Milan were going through at the start of the second half, Romagnoli should’ve taken the situation in hand.
“He’s a very good player, but needs to improve in terms of character.”
