Stefano Colantuono said Atalanta saw their plans “discombobulated” by Lazio’s opening goal in a 3-0 defeat.
“We’ve had a fair few problems, above all because the injuries are all concentrated on the flanks, where last season we tended to make the difference,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
“To give more support to Denis, I thought tonight we’d use Bianchi. We did well in the first half against a team that is clearly superior.

“Until we get certain players back, we must reflect on how to play. So far this season we’ve been fairly solid defensively, but tonight we should’ve been more concentrated.
“The opening goal discombobulated our plans. We tried to push forward a little more, but then it becomes difficult to contain quality opponents.”
The Orobici are particular weak on their travels, failing to score in any of their last seven away fixtures.
“We have lost just one of the previous six rounds, but knew this would be a difficult campaign. We do need to improve away from home.”
