“Genoa are a very strong team who are having a fantastic season. On home turf they already beat Juventus and Milan, then caused Roma all sorts of problems.
“We must play with intelligence and the right mentality. I expect a high intensity game.”
Mauricio Pinilla moved from Genoa to Atalanta over Christmas, though the paperwork has not been completed yet.
It’s therefore possible the Chile international will not be available for the game.
“I am very happy that Pinilla has arrived and convinced his quality can give us a big hand,” added Colantuono.
“The club did very well to move in advance and anticipate other clubs who were interested in such an important player.”
