Roma have reportedly pulled the plug on Edin Dzeko’s proposed move to Chelsea, but Emerson Palmieri is still set to make the switch.
According to Rome-based Il Messaggero, Roma are planning to keep Dzeko, despite Chelsea’s insistence on signing the striker.
The 31-year-old has started the Giallorossi’s last two games, scoring in their 1-1 draw with Sampdoria last week.
However, the newspaper notes Emerson will join the Blues for €24m plus €5m in bonuses, although there are only two days for the transfer to be completed.
