The 25-year-old Moroccan international has impressed at the Stadio Friuli and continues to earn plaudits from around Europe.
According to TalkSport, Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo is keeping a close eye on Benatia with a January offer worth up to £10m being prepared.
Benatia had already been linked with Fiorentina, Juventus and Barcelona, but he has a contract with Udinese until June 2017.
