Emerging from the clinic at La Madonnina after the first stage of examinations, the 27-year-old released some new comments on his transfer.
“I come to a Milan with a great deal of sacrifice because I must play and always try and give the best of myself to contribute to the team's victories,” Cerci has reflected.
“I have always kept on training, I'm lacking match fitness but I'm fine.
“There were other clubs interested in me, including Inter, but I'm happy to be here at Milan.
“I only wanted Milan, this was the team that wanted me and I was happy to join them.”
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia are reporting that Milan will unlikely complete the paperwork necessary at the open of the transfer market on January 5 to register Cerci in time to debut against Sassuolo the following day.
It is assumed that the forward will more likely enter the field for the first time as a Rossonero in Week 18’s fixture at former club Torino, at the Olimpico.
