The winger completed a loan move from Milan to Genoa last week and is set for his first outing against Verona this weekend.
He was presented to the media for the first time as a Grifone player today and believes that the club’s ‘attacking style’ will suit his talents.
“This is definitely an opportunity for me – I’m here to relaunch my career and get back to being the player that I’ve shown I am,” he said at today’s Press conference.
“Gasperini plays attacking football and that suits my characteristics. He plays a lot down the wings and that’s what I like.
“It’s important for me to meet humble people and I’ve found a very helpful environment here. After a period like this that’s what I need.
“I’ve found a close-knit group that deserves more than what the table says – there was also a bit of bad luck at the beginning.
“I want to repay the club that has believed so much in me.”
