Fabrizio Castori admits Carpi did not play well, but “we must not get depressed” by defeat to Sassuolo.
The minnows had been unbeaten in five rounds when they fell 3-1 on home turf.
“Sassuolo are a great team with excellent players and a fine Coach like Eusebio Di Francesco,” Castori told Sky Sport Italia.
“In today’s defeat, though, it was partly our fault too. When you make mistakes against a side like Sassuolo, you are made to pay.

“After so many positive moments, a poor performance can happen. We were missing some players and can certainly do better than this.
“There’s no drama, we must not get depressed by this defeat. We lost because we played badly, but in the next games we’ll try to secure our safety in any way possible.”
