“Belotti is a great captain and a great leader,” Cairo told Sky Sport Italia.
“His transfer value and his release clause are irrelevant. He is ours and we are holding on tight.”
The President also confirmed he had turned down bids for veteran goalkeeper Sirigu.
“We received several offers, but Salvatore is an extraordinary person and a key figure in the dressing room. He is staying here too.”
Torino have been pursuing Napoli winger Simone Verdi for weeks, but seem no closer to a breakthrough, also facing competition from Roma.
“It’s difficult to improve this squad any more, but we’ll try anyway.”
