Torino President Urbano Cairo insists Joe Hart remains “a great goalkeeper” as his mistake against Atalanta was a case of “bad luck”.
Hart spilled a cross for Atalanta’s equaliser on his Serie A debut as Torino went on to lose 2-1 over the weekend, but Cairo reiterated his belief in the Manchester City loanee.
“We threw away the result on Sunday,” he said at the presentation of the Giro d’Italia.
“Regardless, we must go on because we have a team capable of making amends.
