PSG want to sell players – including Javier Pastore to Roma – before they put the contract on the books, to ensure they don’t fall foul of FFP.
As a result, Buffon is expected in Paris at the weekend, with the reporting period ending on June 30.
That means he is likely to be officially announced at the beginning of next week.
