Juventus' Gigi Buffon has been asked whether he'd prefer the club to sign Sergio Aguero or Giuseppe Rossi this summer.

The Atletico Madrid and Villarreal forwards are of interest to the Old Lady as the outfit look to sign a top player.

"I'm not voting in favour of one over the other," the Italian international goalkeeper stated to Sky Sport Italia.

"They are two players who I like very much. Any club would be lucky to have them at their disposal.

"I'd just want whichever player has more hunger and desire, as that is the determining factor. Juventus can't be an alternative or a back-up plan for anybody."

Italian international Rossi would be the cheaper option, seeing as Aguero could cost as much as €40m in a transfer fee and demand a €6m a season salary.

"A player's salary is dependant on where the club and the player find themselves at a certain time," Buffon added.

"I've never been jealous with regard to that, also because I have always been very well paid in my career."
