Cristian Brocchi insists “I feel like Milan Coach” and will “plan the team’s future” until told otherwise.
The former midfielder took over on the Rossoneri bench when Sinisa Mihajlovic was sacked, but was only under contract until the end of the season.
Given that his side finished seventh in Serie A and lost the Coppa Italia final, most expect him to return to the Primavera side, but the Coach is defiant.
“With regard to my future, I’m calm,” Brocchi explained to Premium Sport.

“I get on well with [President Silvio] Berlusconi and we often talk. Milan will decide. Meanwhile, I’ll plan the team’s future.
“Today I feel like Milan Coach, I’ll continue the work we saw in the Coppa Italia final.”
It has been suggested that Chinese investment could see Zlatan Ibrahimovic return to Milan, and Brocchi would welcome the Swedish striker.
“I haven’t spoken about it with Berlusconi, but of course Zlatan would help anyone.”
