Cristian Brocchi feels he “has more of a chance” of keeping the Milan job after the Coppa Italia defeat to Juventus.
The Coach was promoted from the Primavera youth team to replace Sinisa Mihajlovic last month and failed to qualify for Europe.
Last night they took Juve to extra time in the Coppa Italia Final, eventually losing 1-0 to an Alvaro Morata strike.
“It went badly in terms of the result, but well when it comes to the attitude,” Brocchi told Striscia La Notizia.
“Milan proved they were able to play and fight. The President complimented us on the way we played yesterday.
“We showed the right spirit throughout the match.”
Will Brocchi be retained on the Rossoneri bench next season?
“I think that I have more of a chance after last night. I hope that people saw something of my attitude in that performance.
“Am I satisfied? With last night, yes.”
While President Silvio Berlusconi would like to retain Brocchi, the club is in talks for a sale to Chinese investors and they'd prefer a big name like Sevilla boss Unai Emery.
