Sergio Brio will not be surprised if former club Juventus do have their difficulties against Bologna this evening.
The Old Lady will travel to the Dall’Ara without injured first choice centre-backs Andrea Barzagli and Giorgio Chiellini.
“They will certainly be missed,” the Italian told TMW. “The absences of Barzagli and Chiellini will be very important.
“Barzagli is having a fantastic campaign and he’s given some solidity to the defence. Meanwhile, Chiellini has improved after not such a brilliant season.”
Juve, who will field a pairing of Leonardo Bonucci and Martin Caceres this evening, need a win to join Milan at the top of the table.
“This game will be an important one for the Scudetto,” Brio added. “Juventus want to send an important signal to Milan and demonstrate, yet again, that they haven’t given up.”
Barzagli and Chiellini both picked up calf strains against Chievo. The first will be out for about three weeks, while the latter could be fit for the game against Fiorentina in 10 days.
