Inter technical director Marco Branca has no regrets about his transfer decisions during the summer window.

The Nerazzurri have had a difficult start to the season and the club’s market strategy has been questioned as a result.

Branca, though, has told Libero that he’s happy with what he and the club achieved in their efforts to strengthen the squad.

“I’m not interested in what people say, I’m just focused on doing my best for the club,” he stated.

“I would sign all of the same players again today if I had the opportunity. The new faces just need some time to settle.

“Jonathan, for example, will amaze everyone once he gets into the rhythm of Italian football.”

Jonathan, Luc Castaignos, Ricky Alvarez, Mauro Zarate and Diego Forlan were the club’s major new arrivals.

Branca and Inter were also criticised for initially not realising that Forlan couldn’t play in the Champions League because he is Cup-tied.
