Poland have picked up seven points from four games and sit top of League A Group 1 in the UEFA Nations League with two games remaining.
“In this cycle we have included many young players in the Nations League with the aim of staying there,” Boniek told Sky Sport Italia.

“We are close to the finish line, even if we are not mathematically sure of the result yet, but we are happy and relaxed.
“Then, of course, seeing that we lead the group with two games to go, we will try to honour our commitment and to be respected.
“We know that our Italian friends want to win the group, but we will try to give the best of ourselves.”
Italy host Poland at the Mapei Stadium on Sunday and the reverse fixture ended in a goalless stalemate.
