Milan’s Daniele Bonera and Inter’s Gary Medel will be suspended for the Derby della Madonnina, which takes place on November 25.
Bonera was sent off for a second bookable offence after 84 minutes in the game against Sampdoria on Saturday.
Medel was given his marching orders after 51 minutes in the match with Verona on Sunday, after handling the ball in the penalty area. It led to Samir Handanovic saving Luca Toni’s effort from the subsequent penalty.
Elsewhere, Genoa’s Stefano Sturaro has been given a two-match ban after his red card in the Grifoni’s 1-1 draw with Cagliari on Sunday.
The 21-year-old was sent off after committing a foul on Daniele Conti, which resulted in a penalty for the hosts, from which Mattia Perin saved from Danilo Avelar from 12 yards.
Sturaro however won’t be available for the games against Palermo and Cesena.
One more game has been added to the automatic one-game ban, because of Improper Conduct towards an opponent.
Meanwhile, Cagliari’s Daniele Conti, Napoli’s Jorginho, Udinese’s Panagiotis Koné and Roma’s Francesco Totti have all been given one-match suspensions for an accumulation of yellow cards. Chievo’s Riccardo Meggiorini has been handed a one-match ban and a €2,000 fine for simulation in the penalty box.
Off the pitch, Roma have been handed a €30,000 fine due to their fans’ discriminatory chants, the display of discriminatory banners and the setting off of fireworks during the game against Torino. The use of a transmitter receiver from a member of the technical staff has also been included in the fine.
Also Fiorentina have been fined €15,000 due to their fans’ discriminatory chants during the game against Napoli on Sunday.
