According to German outlet Bild, Inter have submitted an official offer to Bayern Munich for France international Benjamin Pavard, who reportedly wants to leave the Bundesliga giants this summer.
According to the report, Inter’s offer is worth a total figure of €25m, however Bayern are hoping for a fee above €30m, specifically somewhere in the range of €35m-€40m.
Bild report that Inter are prepared to leave their offer on the table and are unlikely to come back in with an improved bid.
Pavard, who is now into the final year of his contract in Bavaria, has supposedly informed Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen of his desire to leave by the end of the transfer window.
It is believed that it is the defender’s desire to join Manchester United if he had the choice, however the situation at Old Trafford is tricky given United’s current inability to move on former captain Harry Maguire.
