Andrea Bertolacci feels there is no need to panic despite Genoa’s worrying start to the 2013-14 season.

The Marassi outfit are already out of the Coppa Italia, while they have been beaten by Inter and Fiorentina in their first two League games of the campaign.

“The fixture list hasn’t favoured us,” the former Roma and Lecce player told Sky Sport Italia. “We’ve taken on two sides in Inter and Fiorentina who are fighting for important targets.

“We are only a few games into the campaign and there is no need to make a drama out of things,” he continued.

“Genoa are present and we’ll show that in the derby against Sampdoria. We have 15 days to work and prove that we are a strong side.

“We are following the indications of boss Fabio Liverani, someone who has excellent qualities. He’ll prove that along with us.”
