“I think I will play the rest of the season as a midfielder. We had already talked about it at the beginning of the year with the coach,” Bernadeschi told TuttoJuve.com
“Then for technical reasons we delayed moving me there but that was the initial idea and we are still doing it.”
Bernardeschi is likely to make Roberto Mancini’s squad for Euro 2020, so is he looking forward to it?
“I will certainly be charged because it is something which we all want. Our whole country will follow us, and we will play at home in Rome so I can’t wait to get there to tell you the truth.
“I must say that together with the coach and my teammates in the national side we have created a great environment and this make us even happier.”
