Silvio Berlusconi assures “the money is there” for the Milan takeover but “we’re waiting for Chinese bureaucracy”.
The Rossoneri President has agreed to sell the club to Sino-Europe Sports, but speculation is growing that the funds won’t be in place for the December 13 deadline.
“There’s too much talk about the closing,” Berlusconi told Premium Sport.
“The money is there, we’re waiting for the Chinese bureaucracy. Milan will return to the Olympus of football.

“There’s space in the cabinet for another trophy [the Supercoppa Italiana], but the successes that we’ve achieved in our history are unrepeatable.”
It appears the Diavolo are finally fulfilling Berlusconi’s dream of a young, Italian side just as he’s set to leave…
“I’m emotional for all the youngsters who have come through the academy, look at [Gigio] Donnarumma, [Manuel] Locatelli and [Davide] Calabria.”
The President was also asked about Juventus, in particular their record signing Gonzalo Higuain.
“Juve haven’t found the right team spirit yet. Higuain hasn’t received enough passes, but it’s only a matter of time.”
